Spine & Autorickshaw

Can traveling in an autorickshaw cause spine issues?

Traveling in an autorickshaw, which has fewer shock absorbers compared to a car, can potentially damage the spinal discs that act as shock absorbers for the spine. This risk increases, especially when traveling at high speeds on rough, pothole-filled roads. Such travel can sometimes lead to slipped discs in young patients and even osteoporotic fractures in the elderly. This applies not just to passengers but to drivers as well.
