What is Vertebroplasty ? 

Vertebroplasty is a minimally invasive medical procedure used to strengthen and stabilize fractured osteoporotic vertebrae. Under specialized X-ray imaging guidance, a needle is precisely inserted into the affected vertebra. Through this needle, a specialized bone “Cement” known as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is injected into the fractured area, reinforcing the bone structure. This process helps restore the height of the collapsed vertebra and enhances its stability, reducing pain and improving function.
