Spine & Neural Plexus

What are Spinal Neural Plexus?

Spinal neural plexuses are networks of intersecting spinal nerves (like a maze) that emerge from the spinal canal, merge, and redistribute to innervate specific regions of the body by forming peripheral nerves. For instance, cervical spinal nerves form the brachial plexus, which is responsible for controlling the movement of the hands. Similarly, lumbar spinal nerves create the lumbar plexus, which receives signals from the legs and facilitates their movement.
