What is scoliosis?
In a normal spine, when viewed from the front, the spine appears straight. However, if the spine develops an abnormal sideways curvature, resembling the shape of a “C” or “S” like a Snake, this condition is called scoliosis. It most commonly affects teenage girls but can occur in anyone. Scoliosis can develop in any part of the spine and may cause symptoms such as uneven shoulders, a rib hump, asymmetry in the waist, or differences in limb length.
